Building the gap through holistic training (BRIGHT) has been designed and launched in 2011 to avoid this question. And, since, the resort has successfully awarded 523 learners.
BRIGHT is a nine months program which focuses on developing the skills that a supervisor/ manager needs to perform their day to day job.
According to Jean-Jacques Vallet, Chief Executive Officer of Constance Hotels & Resorts, BRIGHT is one successful program. ‘The workshop has three objectives; developing and improving the skills of the team members, enhancing productivity and ensuring a healthy environment in the resorts.’
One of the main assessment criteria for the program is developing a project and implementing it. Named as an ‘idea to action’ project, all the skills learnt throughout the program are put into practice. The learner also gets the opportunity to prove that they are ready for the upcoming responsibilities!
